Jay Etteldorf - Owner - Tattoo Artist
Tattoo professional since early 2013. Originally from the greater Seattle area in Washington state where for 8 years, I was am artist at Derm FX Tattoo in Auburn. I’m a family oriented Navy veteran, 2000 - 2006, and I’m grateful to be in an area that has so many men and women that serve. Happy to help my fellow vets and servicemembers express themselves, as well as the rest of the community. I have a passion for what I do, an obsession. And with that being said, money isn’t the sole focus and my rates won’t break your bank account. Every tattoo I apply is done with utmost care and accuracy and I would consider myself middle of the road concerning speed at which I work. I am a perfectionist and although it may not feel great during the process that I scrutinize the details, in the end you’ll be happy that I did. My goal is to have you as a lifelong client.
It’s important to me that your experience is pleasant. You’ ll feel comfortable and if you’re nervous, that’ll subside within minutes. I have a very light hand and you may be shocked at how little pain you feel.
I’m a five time Seattle Tattoo Convention Artist, and if you’ve never been to a tattoo expo, I would highly recommend the experience. Hundreds of artists, high energy, fun, and all things tattoo. I’ll be working the All-American Expo here in Fayetteville in the near future.
I’ve been an artist my entire life, since as early as I can remember. My favorite style of art to tattoo leans to the realistic side of the spectrum. To me, it’s the most challenging because everything has to be precise. Even a little bit off, shows huge. My favorite thing to draw would have to be portraits. It’s difficult but rewarding. I’m well rounded and specialize in black and grey but can absolutely bang out some color. I’m not limited to any certain style and whatever the case may be, I can execute it effectively. I’ll always present the artwork for your tattoo beforehand. And if there is something that needs to be changed, or even possibly be redrawn for that matter, I’ll do so until it’s perfect.
Thank you for reading, I look forward to working with you.
